Summary of Design Guidelines
At Manzanita Ridge Estates and Ash Mountain Estates, we’d like everyone to live within the natural beauty of the development. That is why we have carefully planned these developments.
These are a summary of the Design Guidelines. Should you require more detailed information, we invite you to ask for a set of full Design Guidelines.
Home Sizes
| Two Storey |
minimum 2000 sq. ft. plus garage |
| Split Level |
minimum 1800 sq.ft. plus garage |
| Rancher |
minimum 1700 sq. ft. plus garage |
| Basement Entry |
minimum 2000 sq. ft. plus garage |
Elevations
Preference is for well articulated, well proportioned elevations, with colours to harmonize with the surrounding natural landscape.
Roof Lines
Roof lines are to be well proportioned to compliment the building. A minimum roof pitch of 7: 12 shall be used.
Exterior Materials
All exterior materials shall have a “ Class A “ fire rating.
Preferred materials are:
- Hardiplank
- Stucco
- Board and batten
- Brick and/or rock
Stucco shall not comprise more than 20 % of any elevation.
Accessory Buildings
All accessory buildings will be subject to the same Design Guidelines
as the principle building.
Landscape Design
New landscape installations shall be compatible with the natural
beauty of each property.
